The chemical smell from the packaging and/or the dinosaurs was so strong that I put them back in the box and immediately started the return process. I thought about letting them air out but realized I would probably never feel comfortable giving them to my kids knowing they had a toxic smell. I've seen a few reviews saying they smell bad, but most were positive and didn't mention it, so I figured some might have a bad set or just be too sensitive. I didn't find anything on the packaging to indicate that the plastic is non-toxic. It was cheap but you get what you pay for. I decided to spend more money for a higher quality set from a more reputable brand. Also, when I saw the misspelled word "dinosaur" on the cover of the information brochure, it didn't inspire confidence. deleted my negative review. Which pissed me off even more because how unethical is that? Not surprisingly, most of these reviews are positive. I stand by what I said. They smelled awful and I felt uncomfortable giving them to my kids to touch and play with and I would never have bought them had I seen more honest reviews warning me against it.
