UPDATE (JULY 13TH 2021): I've had this lighter for almost 5 months now (purchased February 26th) and it's holding up very well. It works great, even after accidentally falling onto the concrete outside a few times and onto our hardwood floor a few times inside (yes, I'm clumsy). I think the only downside to this lighter is that the battery doesn't last that long. I have to charge it at least every other day but still it was a really good lighter. ORIGINAL TESTING. . .Very cool looking lighter. I'll admit I was disappointed at first when I got it in the mail yesterday, thinking I'd get a coiled lighter (a bit like the ones that used to come in cars), but it's not a coil, it's a arc ring. However, it's my own fault for thinking it was a coil lighter as I seem to have misunderstood the name when I bought it. However, I really like this lighter. The rainbow color is beautiful and shiny, and the arc ring is unlike anything I've seen before (I have two other rechargeable lighters, one with a single arc and the other with a cross arc). I've only had this unit for less than a day so I can't tell you how many times it will light up on a full charge but I CAN offer some advice to those who have never caught fire. I used to use an arc lighter. First, never, EVER, EVER touch the flame or anywhere inside the ring even if it is not lit, unless you are enjoying the physical shock. . . because, plain and simple, IT WILL SHOW YOU IF YOU ARE TOUCHED! Second, many people don't seem to know or understand that you CANNOT turn off these lighters by pressing the button. You should either close the lid when you're done, or let it run for a full 10 seconds until it automatically shuts off, then close the lid. However, if you let it run for 10 seconds each time until it completely shuts down, THE BATTERY WILL BE DISSOLVED FASTER! So I suggest that you close the lid every time you're done using it. That's all. That's all I can say about it now. I'll update my review once I know how long it takes.
