Amazing little camera that does a lot

For the price this little camera/video does a lot and does it very well. With a stunning 36MP resolution, it has options beyond its size, but in most situations, especially in medium light, 12MP is better. Hey, my old DSLR that I paid $2300 for was 12MP. The zoom is optical, meaning you're essentially cropping pixels in-camera, but they show the recommended crop bar on-screen so you don't compromise on image quality. The menu offers a few options that actually work, but figuring out what they do can be a bit of a hassle, at least at first. As a retired photographer, I originally took it with me to keep in the car (I'm not a fan of phone cameras) for unused shots I take to document a place I might want to return to. I let my granddaughter play with it and now I want to "borrow" it for her upcoming trip to Florida. I'm not sure if I'll get it back, well we'll see. One thing I don't understand is why they still use micro USB connections which are two generations older than USB and rarely used. Most use Mini-USB or USB-CI, some things might be a bit more technical, but it's better to trust the camera and enjoy shooting. Overall I don't think you can get any better for the money at a higher price point and it's not just good for its size and price.

Pros

Cons
