It is exactly what I wanted. There were so many negative reviews from people who just didn't know what they were buying that it almost made me skip this item. The 365nm light is not supposed to be seen with the naked eye, but so many people said it wasn't bright enough. This light pinpoints every single speck of dust that will fluoresce. I found spots I didn't really want to find but that also made me have to think about what I found. I found the spots I was looking for and more. You need to do a little detective work to determine what might be glowing. Is it really pee or did you splash a cleaning product? Are those stains from an animal or a spill? It highlighted spots where the paint didn't cover well enough too because it showed the plaster under the thin coat of paint. It is more than I wanted and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the unit died just after the return closure date and is now useless. I have contacted the seller and received a warranty replacement. While I understand that things can go bad, I can't fault the seller. He promptly replaced the item. My only complaint is that I found it difficult to contact the seller via revain. A website and email address was provided in the box, but I didn't think to look there since it was revain.
