Very good instructions included, and easy to set up. I liked the concept of filling it with water/sand to add weight. Filled it with water, and it is heavy enough to not keep my 7.5ft umbrella from tipping over. However, due to a poor design - there are two very small plastic nubs on the bottom of the base, and they have no chance to interlock meaningful with two holes in the metal center pole base meant keep it from rotating. Mainly an issue when my umbrella is tilted. Happens even with only a slight breeze. Not going to return it, but have put a few strips of duck tape linking the umbrella holder to the top of the base. For the time being, it now seems to keep everything in a stable orientation with my fix.
