Bad first impression

I was sooooo glad to get this! I just got into fluorescent minerals and I was like a kid at Christmas. Got it and plugged it into a grounded power strip, just plugged in 2 other appliances the first time and set the timer for 60 minutes. Nothing heavy - a $10 lamp and a personal heater from Walmart. The lamp turned on, producing a YELLOW LIGHT and SMOKE inside the tube and immediately burned out. Revain replaces him. I will update when a new one comes out. (As long as it works 😡)
