I have a car dvr which is attached to my rearview mirror and the tf card is inserted into the top of the unit and I always have to pull the rearview mirror down. Insert and remove card. This device allows me to remove and replace the card as needed without changing the position of the rearview mirror. In fact, I was a bit surprised that it would work since it was primarily designed to be used with 3D printers. I have a 3D printer and it works. The price is very affordable and this item is a great way to deal with small TF card using it with SD card. Or, better yet, you can use an SD card. Worth buying.
