A kind of foam lining is sewn between inner lining and outer skin, and it's plump; can be 1/4 inch thick on both sides resulting in about 1/2 inch of wasted space inside the wallet. It's not a large bag, and the fact that the foam takes up so much space significantly reduces the interior capacity of the wallet. So I'm definitely not a fan of it. The look of the wallet is cool; It looks like it has been your favorite purse for years, a little shabby. The skin is wrinkled. The shoulder strap is not detachable but adjustable and equipped with nylon webbing. It looks nice, but the functionality of the wallet is so broken due to stupid foam in the lining that I really can't recommend it very much.
