Review on Optimized for Trail Running: Ultimate Direction Mens Race Vest Signature Series 5.0 by Chris Crisler

I have three previous (Nathan) vests that worked fine. I chose the UD vest because I've been running in 100 degree temperatures here in Texas and this material seemed like a winner to me as it doesn't hold the sweat and does a great job at it. It's surprisingly light and feels more like a minimalist vest, but it's more than adequate for long runs. The fit is my biggest gripe as it doesn't seem to want to stay in one place despite the rather unique rear sync straps. The position of the whistle and the inability to keep it away made me cut it off and just put it in my pocket, but that annoyed me. This is a nice warm WX vest but I will wear another when it gets cooler.
