! DO NOT BUY! FIRE HAZARD! It's been in my jeep for a few weeks and seemed to be working fine. Me and another person had just gotten into my jeep to go somewhere and it had been driving maybe 2-3 minutes when we smelled something burning. We both work for the fire department and it was obvious what the smell was. We started inspecting the dashboard and suddenly smoke began to ooze out of the shrapnel, growing heavier by the second. I pulled it out and disconnected the other device and it stopped. However, even after airing it out, the smell stayed in my jeep for several days. It could have happened in someone's garage at night. I would have posted a photo but I left it with the fire department.
