Works well: Carpet Mats

Well, with what I intended to do with it, it worked fine. I also brought double-sided carpet tape. My new mats didn't have enough backing to be truly non-slip, so I got creative. Cut the floor mat to be slightly smaller than the rugs. I like the rug because it has tiny holes instead of the big ones you usually see. Stick rug tape to the underside of rugs along the outside edges, then add strips, leaving 2-3 inches between strips of tape. It is necessary to carefully pull the strips one by one from the tape and carefully attach the mat to them, being careful not to crease them. Then simply repeat the process until the mat is secured to the carpet. Honestly I have no idea how I'm going to wash them, most likely I won't put them in the dryer. But hey, it worked, the mats are non-slip, and since I couldn't send the mats back, it worked great.

Pros

Do not use the carpet on the stairs. * Not intended for use on carpet, vinyl, painted, acrylic, natural stone, porous or treated surfaces. Before use, check the floor manufacturer's instructions to ensure the mat will not damage the floor surface.
