Review on 🚗 High-Quality Wiper Motor Replacement for Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2002 - Model 4864892 by Corey Greene

Purchased to replace my original motor which had seized. Installed and found the shaft rotated 90 degrees in park position (exact same problem described by Anthony George in his review). The photo in the description shows the notched sides of the shaft in the correct position (parallel to the motor). ). The one I have stops with slots perpendicular to the motor, stopping the wipers in a vertical position. I don't think I can return it as it's been over 30 days since it was sent. I ended up disassembling my original engine and removing the rust and debris that was causing the engine to seize. There's no gasket between the transmission and the motor, and the factory rubber boot that covers the unit basically turns into a water bag when it dries and tears. Instead of holding water, it fills up and surrounds the engine with water, causing it to rust and fail (great design, Jeep!). I'm hoping to squeeze out a year or so and buy a locally made part when it dies.
