Luminara is THE name in elegant and realistic looking LED candles. Everything about them is high-end. And when you think about it, the price you pay isn’t much more than you’d pay for three regular wax candles of a similar size.The bodies of the candles are wax, so don’t leave them in the sun. They’re for indoors and not in a hot location that might compromise the wax. What really sets these candles apart is the flicker mechanism. It is so hard to get the full effect in my video, but the candles have a tiny spotlight that shines on a moving "flame”, lighting it up and giving it a beautiful appearance. The body of the candle also partially lights up, which also contributes to its elegance. This particular set comes in a beautiful box that is perfect for gifting (to yourself or someone else). And while I still use real candles much of the time, I love to put these in places where I’m not comfortable with an open flame, or leaving a candle unattended. We all have those….
