I have used MAC products for many years and this is by far the best eye base. I stumbled upon this a few years ago while shopping for cosmetics in a department store. The seller asked if I needed a base or brushes etc and I don't say I use pressed powder. The salesman showed me how to use it and since then when it's a "full face day" I put it under my eyeshadows as a base and the shadows don't crease, fade or run. A makeup brush mixed with a makeup sponge and dusted with loose powder will do. It takes me less than two minutes to prep my eyes for shadows and I'm flawless by the time I'm ready to cleanse my face in the evening. These little jars will last a long time. I buy one maybe every 6-8 months - I don't wear makeup every day - and it doesn't get hard or sticky but soft and creamy and ready to use. It might be a bit more expensive for a basic product, but it's worth it.
