First of all, there must be written instructions. The clamp does NOT slide easily on the camera, it requires some maneuvering and is not very secure. The clamp itself is very strong, but screwing it onto the camera is another matter entirely. My XT-2 camera model will not fit the clamp without modification. Made in China.
