Have you ever sat in front of your computer and realized that your monitor just didn't quite fit and that it was time for an upgrade, but the last few times you've spent very little and gotten some good monitors, but now. Time to spoil yourself? That happened to me. The monitor I was using no longer fit me. I wanted to upgrade and remember the first time I saw a curved monitor in one of the big electronics stores earlier this year it was huge and around $800 and I was about to buy this monitor when it was the right time to upgrade! I did a little research on monitors on Amazon the other day and it was amazing to see such a wide price range between models and brands. Good reviews help. I came across a review that said these monitors weren't good for spreadsheets and upon reading that I changed my mind and decided to go with pure flat panels and see if I could find any good suggestions. However, something told me. I need a curved monitor. I do spreadsheets, yes. but i also work with photos and videos and for the price, why not? It would be worth it and if it doesn't work I could easily buy a cheap flat panel just for spreadsheets and documents or send this monitor back. I ordered this very monitor, Samsung, and bent! The shipping box was very light and I liked that the box could be tipped at the short end and carried in that position. When I got the monitor home, unpacking was easy and assembling the stand was very easy. The screen tilts, which is nice. This monitor is externally powered but is very small and light and would prefer it to be external to keep the monitor ergonomic and light weight. Within 12 minutes I assembled the monitor, connected it, turned it on and got a signal. I'm amazed at the sharpness, quality and how my photos and videos look on screen no matter what angle I'm at. The curve helps me focus on the center and it looks very cinematic and interesting. I tested the table and I really liked that it is curved! I'm so glad I didn't follow another review and bought this curved monitor. This monitor fits my Mac Mini perfectly. Windows 10 virtual machine also opens fine. I like this perspective and am grateful for the expense and for all the other reviewers who helped. If I ever wanted a monitor nearby or for another computer I would definitely get this one. I'm used to buying cheap 32" TVs and using them as monitors, but with a dedicated 27" monitor, text and photos become much clearer. I think 27 inches is the perfect size.
