I installed it between two doors because there was a visible gap between them that allowed light and sound to pass through. After installation, the adhesive is strong, which has been tested, because now it takes some effort to close the door, as it is quite cumbersome to peel off. I've kept the door closed and tried to crush it, but so far it remains too bulky for my door to close easily. To be clear, that's not a bad trait, depending on usage, that resilience is probably a pretty positive thing.
