Installed this monster cooler on an overclocked Ryzen 5 2600 running at 3.85GHz @ 1.3V, replacing the be Quiet! Pure rock is subtle. Installation was easy and I didn't have to remove the motherboard during the process. You simply keep the backplate that came with your mobo and then screw in some standoffs and bars before screwing on the cooler. A long magnetic screwdriver is included which is very useful/necessary as you will need to screw the cooler to the bars through the hole in the top of the cooler. The fan that comes with the cooler is a 120mm Scythe PWM fan with a maximum RPM of 1200, which is lower than many other coolers but keeps the system very quiet while still providing premium cooling. The cooler comes with a small tube of thermal paste and seems to be of good quality as I see it performing very well. As mentioned, I have a Ryzen 5 2600 with an overclock of 0.45 GHz. I ran AIDA 64 for 30 minutes, which essentially keeps your CPU running at 100 percent the entire time. During that time I saw an average temperature of 52 degrees Celsius, which is fantastic and only a degree or two away from top-end air coolers like the Noctua DH-15. If you're considering this cooler, I wouldn't hesitate at all. Top performance at a mid range price makes this a great purchase and I will definitely consider Scythe for any future coolers I need.
