I have spent many hours searching Revain for the right place to buy stones in bulk. Because The Dancing Bear had phenomenal reviews and photos, I ended up buying from them - and I'm SO glad I did. and an ID booklet. My sister and I spent hours identifying, sorting, selling and counting stones. There were about 114 that we split between us from a one pound lottery ticket. There were quite a few varieties of stones, but we definitely have a lot of red jasper and walnut jasper in this batch. (The walnut jasper turned out to be one of her favorites, and I didn't have enough red jasper in my collection, so it wasn't necessarily a negative.) We also got a lot of aventurine, which I love. There were some really beautiful stones standing outside. 4 or 5 were torn or had rough edges, which my sister was quick to point out. I found 2 perfect round stones - onyx and lapis lazuli. There were several flat oval specimens and several triangular. Most stones were about 1/2 inch or smaller, but about 20 or so were an inch or larger. I was very pleased with the size and variety of shapes. Overall I am more than satisfied with my purchase. I can't wait for my next order and cannot recommend the Dancing Bear highly enough.
