Works as expected in my review

I bought this rechargeable 12vdc power bank to power my NVIDIA Xavier NX running Donkey Car software on a 1/10 scale Traxxas Slash R/C truck. When I received the power bank it had two green LEDs on which was expected. Breaking out my trusty Digital Multimeter I measured the power bank output voltage at a little over 10vdc which was expected.I then plugged in the included 12.6vdc charger which caused the third green LED to illuminate. After about an hour when I unplugged the charger, the third green LED stayed lit. The output voltage at that point was around 12.3vdc and the charge indicator on the charger was still showing red. After approximately four hours the fourth green LED had illuminated and the charge indicator on the charger had turned green indicating a full charge. The power bank output voltage at that point was measured at 12.6vdc which is about right for three full charged Li-Ion cells in series. The power bank never got warm during the charging process which usually indicates that all the cells are good at the start, but the charger did get warm to the touch.I then used the 12vdc power my NVIDIA Xavier NX which it did as expected. The Xavier's input voltage ranges from around 9vdc to 19vdc so this 12vdc power bank can power the Xavier until it reaches around 10vdc at which time it will be ready for a recharge.

Pros
  • The battery pack features a low self-discharge rate, meaning it can retain charge for longer periods
Cons
  • The battery is not very eco-friendly due to its limited lifespan
