Ideal for door and window wreaths, mantels, table decorations, small table trees, holiday villages and vases, birthday decorations, costumes, etc. We received 4 light chains, each with 50 warm white LEDs. The strings are silver wire and the battery compartments are white. Each battery compartment contains 3 AAA batteries (not included). We use rechargeable batteries. There is a small black switch in each battery compartment. Press it until you see the light display you like best to choose from 8 flashing, flickering or steady light patterns these strings can create. Then snap the battery compartment into place. Hide it among greenery, fake snow or decorative pine cones, in planters, on top of candelabra, behind photo frames or in vases. And voila! light show! The lighting stays on for 6 hours and then off for 18 hours. There's no remote control, so you'll have to turn it on manually to get started. Great value for money, the amount of light looks great at night and it's a really warm colour. Bright but not blinding, warm but not too yellow, it matches the lights on our Christmas tree. A thread can form a 24 inch door wreath loosely wrapped around and through tree branches. Ideal!
