This hard to find sanding block is a MUST for any auto repair shop. What sets it apart from other blocks is that it's a lightweight foam block but VERY strong and flat. Everything else is soft and flexible, which works well for curved surfaces like the corner of a bumper cover. This block works well on flat or slightly curved surfaces such as the hood, roof, door, etc. Anything nearly flat. It's strong enough that I use it daily with an 80 grit adhesive backing to sand the putty knife over dents on flat surfaces. I also use it with primer filler 180 or 220 dry to flat or thick. Also use it for wet sandblasting 1500 and 2000. Ideal for wet or dry application. ideal hardness. I prefer big palm sized blocks.
