Helps a lot with very good grinding

Doesn't seem to be necessary in principle, but I find it very helpful with very good grinding. Very easy to use, good results, very light.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • No instructions

Great block for general grinding.

The thing is good. I've always loved using Dura-Blocks, but never needed the whole set. When I found out I could only get this block, I grabbed it. The material is good, thick and very hard. I mainly use this for cleaning or just blocking the entire board before I start buffing. 5 stars from me.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other pickaxes

My favorite block. Wet or dry.

This hard to find sanding block is a MUST for any auto repair shop. What sets it apart from other blocks is that it's a lightweight foam block but VERY strong and flat. Everything else is soft and flexible, which works well for curved surfaces like the corner of a bumper cover. This block works well on flat or slightly curved surfaces such as the hood, roof, door, etc. Anything nearly flat. It's strong enough that I use it daily with an 80 grit adhesive backing to sand the putty knife over…

Pros
  • Sanding Blocks
Cons
  • Doubtful

At first I scoffed at this pillow

When the pillow arrived earlier today I thought it was too hard and too small to be of any use. then I wrapped it in 400 grit paper and played it on the roof of my car. I was immediately amazed. The block is much easier to grab than I expected, and it removed the top layer of paint with just a few circular motions. I am impressed. The website says to use half a sheet of sandpaper, but I found this to be wasteful as half the sheet is wrapped around the block three times, leaving a single surface

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Long delivery time
