Review on 🧽 Durable Block AF4405 Black Scruff Pad by Charles Butler

When the pillow arrived earlier today I thought it was too hard and too small to be of any use. then I wrapped it in 400 grit paper and played it on the roof of my car. I was immediately amazed. The block is much easier to grab than I expected, and it removed the top layer of paint with just a few circular motions. I am impressed. The website says to use half a sheet of sandpaper, but I found this to be wasteful as half the sheet is wrapped around the block three times, leaving a single surface to sand. I found using a quarter sheet to be a lot less wasteful and just as productive. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow morning when I have to sand the primed hood with 600 grade paper to prepare it for painting. The block is too hard, although it flexes a bit, for angled surfaces, but for flat or nearly so it's a great grinding aid. I will be ordering more very soon.
