We used it for my daughters first birthday, she is a little small so I ordered the 6-9 month size and it was perfect. It didn’t seem uncomfortable for her anywhere, which is what was most important for me and the material wasn’t itchy. I just wasn’t the biggest fan of the flower headband, some of the flowers were falling off too so we used our own bow.
