Three months ago I changed my hairdresser who introduced me to Moroccan Oil hair products. I bought a bottle of Gold and Glimmer Shine to try. An absolutely sensational product. I'm an aging baby boomer who dyes my hair every four weeks. Usually my colored hair looks fine for the first week, only then it becomes dry, dull and coppery until it needs to be colored again. The gold and mica shine contains argan oil, a wonderful oil from Morocco. This oil brings shine back to my virgin hair. After spraying (from a distance of 10 inches) the texture of my treated hair is much softer and it has an instant shine. No trace of oil is left on my hair or fingers as the product is instantly absorbed by my dehydrated and treated hair. Argan oil contains omega-3 and omega-9 fatty acids, which allow it to penetrate the hair shaft and begin repairing damaged or broken hair follicles immediately. Unlike other oil products, you don't have to worry about argan oil leaving greasy stains on your collar or pillow. I use this product after blow drying my hair to rehydrate it. I think it would be great to use before blow-drying or between shampoos for those with over-processed or damaged hair. I love this product and would try both the shampoo and conditioner. He smells good too. The price of this product is not expensive at all compared to some salon products sold by high-end salons.
