Quality details and design issues - great potential

Three issues with the device were found. This was only used/estimated in direct measurement. I haven't used a record level hand for VTF. The good news is that the scale came very close to the test weight of 5g, right. I would have no problem buying the device again once some design issues are fixed. For reference, the body of the device is made of molded plastic. The manufacturer's country is unknown - at least I didn't see any claims either on the device or in the instructions.1. The plastic lid was so deformed that it no longer closed properly - one corner always jumped out. The sides of the case appear very thin. In fact, this only applies to the location of the battery compartment. I have seen another product with a plastic battery holder that cracked after a few years simply due to the spring tension that develops over time if the battery is left in the device. If the overall width of the case was about 1/8 inch wider it would help. I expect/wish a device like this to last around 50 years for as little as is commonly used. Mechanically, this part of the design looks flimsy. 3. The device is generally difficult to turn off after use. You will be instructed to press and hold the power button for about three seconds. But often after the display goes blank and you release the power button, the device will reboot and turn back on. It appears that this switch is not properly electrically eliminated and hence in this limited experience the turn off time varied from 1 to about 5 times before it was successfully turned off. Three photos are shown: corner. 2. Cover only, trying to show deformation - not the best illustration - although you can get the idea. 3. Battery compartment area (Battery not included). ), which indicates the thickness of the side walls.
