The shank size is 0.115 inch (about 3mm) as shown in the photo, which is just under 1/8 inch (0.125 inch). Because these carbide burs were designed for use in small rotary tools, I had no trouble tightening the tool's collet for a secure fit. Information provided by another seller accurately describes the product and this variety of point shapes offers great versatility when working with fine detail.
