I installed a D-TEND VF4000 Wet/Dry Vacuum Filter on a RIDGID WD1270 12 Gal. wet and dry vacuum cleaner. The fit was very tight at the top (around the top) and around the base. The OEM filter from a large hardware store nearby has been loosened slightly, allowing fine dust to escape from the exhaust pipe. Installation was very easy, the TEND VF4000 D vacuum filter simply snaps into place by pushing in to install or pulling up to remove. a thumb on the hard plastic tip and pull the filter out by the sides.
