This is an exact replacement that fits perfectly and looks identical to my previously used Ridgid VF5000 filter. From the photos it looks like it fits perfectly. It can also be washed. TIP: Apply silicone grease to the ends of hoses and accessory ports. They come apart easily but hold up quite well. So you can quickly change the nozzle or the tube-hose combination! This filter has soft rubber ends, just like OEM Ridgid filters. They appear to seal well and appear to be as durable as the originals. The entire bottom and top of the filter pleats are molded rubber, which is slightly different than the raw edges of Ridgid OEM filters.
