My mom broke her ribs so anything that makes her life easier is a godsend. This brush is in two parts but curls easily. There was also a spare case. I was able to use it to reach all parts of my back and most of my legs without having to twist or bend, and as soon as I gave it to my mom, she immediately appreciated how much more control it gave her during her rehab. Unfortunately, she wasn't very happy with it after using it. The brush was too coarse, meant for exfoliating rather than scrubbing, and didn't hold soap at all, she said.
