***update*** The nameplate has been lost. There is no way to secure it that is permanent. So now we have an attractive collar with no identification. Very nice quality nylon, with reflective edge detail woven in. The buckle is secure, typical quick release. My only problem with the collar is the way the name plate is secured, or rather, not secured. The name plate is attached to an elastic imbedded in the collar via a fairly flimsy manner. There is a split at each end of the metal that allows the plate to be sort of slid onto the elastic. What this means is it can also fairly easily, be slid off. I caught the plate dangling by one side after the dog was scratching at his neck. Maybe a spot of super glue is a good idea, but if you have an active dog you might want to opt for a collar that is riveted on.
