I have a shed that is 12 feet wide, 20 feet long and 7 feet high which is 1680 cubic feet. In summer it is very hot in the barn, 95 degrees outside inside will be 120+ degrees inside. Bought a fan to cool the inside of the shed hoping the inside temp would be closer to the outside temp. You can't do anything for a whole day when it was 35 degrees outside and just over 100 degrees inside at noon. Two days later at 86 Street, so I turned off the fan to see the difference, the temperature inside is just over 100 degrees again. It therefore does not contribute to improving the air temperature in the barn. The attic should have 12-15 air changes per hour so I figured the barn should have the same. The capacity of this fan is 600 cfm or 36,000 cfh. My barn is 1680 cu ft so at 36,000 cu ft per hour the fan should be doing 21 air changes per hour which should be enough to cool the barn but it does nothing. Connection instructions are useless, but you can easily find instructions online. .Otherwise the fan is quiet, but that's all it can do.
