If the tube had end caps so I could tuck loose parts on the sides of the tube I would get five stars. Other reviewers have noted the foldable hardboard tube (thick cardboard) and are correct, but it holds up well when extended, the seller should state this in the description. Otherwise it is as described, don't see why anyone should expect anything other than what was delivered. I think felt works better than foam and the tube allows us to take it with us on trips or to school. Rest assured the velcro straps on the bottom/top of the pieces are near the edges to keep them from slipping off.
