We have about 30 bottles of wine lying horizontally on a wine rack in our basement. Separate holders hide bottle labels so we have to pull out bottles to see what they are (unless you can tell by the end of the cork). I have these wine bottle labels so we don't have to keep moving our bottles around to find the one you're looking for. I didn't have high expectations for this product but I was very happy with the results. It took me about 30 minutes to label and organize all of our bottles. This hidden benefit of labeling your bottles is an organizational opportunity. After labeling the bottles, I went through our "inventory" and grouped similar varietals or cuvées together. Next time I'm craving a specific brand, I can look at part of our shelf and choose from similar bottles. The product comes nicely packaged in a fairly plain plastic box with a hinged lid. The set includes a felt-tip pen for writing on labels. The labels themselves are 2-1/4" wide and 3-1/2" tall. The only label I had trouble with was Gewürztraminer. I didn't have enough space for the last "p" in this one - operator error. The labels are made of thick brown cardboard. It's good enough for this purpose, but I think some plastic would make the product more durable. The only issue I had was that I was able to knock the labels off a couple of bottles fairly easily. The necks of wine bottles are not standardized, so there are very narrow ones and thick ones. Labels easily fit bottles with narrow necks. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. Bottle labeling was quick and easy. With everything clearly labelled, I was able to see how much of each wine we had and organize them in a thoughtful way. For a cheap product, it does what it's supposed to and improves our lifestyle a bit.
