Reliable hinge, but with one major drawback

This is an exceptionally reliable device for the money and I like it. The only point of criticism is the Achilles' heel, where the ball joint is connected to the tablet holder with 4 plastic hooks. It's made of plastic and can easily break if you're not careful. They should have made this part all metal, not plastic. If it breaks, you'll either need to glue it with super glue or buy a spare. I also made my own block of wood which I screwed to the wall and drilled a hole in the top to insert…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Definitely recommend!

This phone mount is still great after a month of daily use. Almost all parts are metal and looks very durable. I was on bed rest and my left hand was in a splint the entire time. My husband built it for me but other than that I was only able to operate it with my right hand, including inserting and removing the phone from the clip holding the phone. Since I was only using one hand, I said I was moderately rough with it when trying to position it properly. I was also able to store my phone in a…

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Minor issues

Requires a lot of customization but very nice to have!

I bought this to hold the projector over my desk but when it wasn't high enough I quickly attached it to the bed frame to hold the iPad like the product photos. It's such a luxury to be able to sit back and look at your tablet, Nintendo Switch or even your phone. BUT. it is not very strong. It takes a lot of turning and adjusting the knob to keep my 12.9 inch iPad awake. It comes with a tablet holder and a phone holder which are difficult to attach. You really have to tighten each connection…

Prepare a pair of pliers to help with the installation

I bought this mount to hold an Acer Switch 5 (same form factor as the Microsoft Surface) and it does the job well. After replacing the weaker springs with the stronger springs that came in the box, my computer stayed where I put it. Replacing the springs was not an easy task and I had to open the ring on the two bottom springs with pliers to screw them into the designated hole at the base of the lever. It required some elbow grease! The larger holder uses a locking clip, which makes me nervous,

  • Wide range

  • The list will be long.

Good, with one downside

In general I like the hand - quality, workmanship, strength, versatility. The tablet's grip feels solid, and each of the four buttons has small lugs to keep the tablet from slipping (hard to describe, but they do the job). Each of the connections has a toggle clamp that secures the connection and they all seem to be holding up well. Four heavier springs are included (nice touch) if the tablet is heavier, although I didn't need them on the 7 inch tablet. There is a downside though: the arm post…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Annoying

Definitely one of the best articulating screen mounts.

I have tried several screen mounts for my bed. I love reading on my Kindle before bed. I've had a lot of them with different designs and this one really is one of the best. Not only can it recline when a person gets romantic, but it also has a real metal clip. Many other plastics break sooner or later. I was impressed with the extra set of heavier springs in case your screen or tablet is heavier than most. The instructions were actually well translated and included seventeen real photos, not…

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Easy to use on stands

The instructions that came with this kit were very detailed and I was able to assemble it without any problems. The only issue I had was that my floors were uneven due to the tiles so my bedside table moved when I tried to move the holder. However, this has nothing to do with the owner himself. Once firmly attached to my bedside table, it never slipped off or even came close to coming loose. After securely attaching my tablet, it never fell. The only problem I had was that I couldn't use it…

Good, with an error

Overall, I like the hand - quality, workmanship, strength, versatility. The tablet's grip feels solid, and each of the four buttons has small lugs to keep the tablet in place (hard to describe, but they do the job). Research pays off, it works

I've been thinking and researching for weeks what different iPad/iPhone stands are available. I wanted him to handle both. It turns out that the tablet clip holds my large iPhone off-center on one side of the clip, so I never change the headband after using the phone a few times. Too many serpentine supports reported not being strong enough for the tablet's weight, so I ruled them out. I already had this type of articulation lamp, so I got used to the joints. I have yet to find a position that…
