This phone mount is great so far after about a month of daily use. Almost all parts are metal and looks very durable. I was on bed rest and my left hand was in a splint the entire time. My husband built it for me but other than that I was only able to operate it with my right hand, including inserting and removing the phone from the clip holding the phone. Since I was only using one hand, I said I was moderately rough with it when trying to position it properly. I was also able to store my phone in a padded wallet-style case because the clip was deep enough (just over 0.5 inches from the inside wall of the clip to the inside of the front). Disadvantages & Unknown: Every few days I might have to tighten the handles at the joints, but that was hardly a problem. Haven't used the larger clip on my iPad yet so I don't know how it will hold the weight. I would give this 5 stars barring the tiny cons and unknowns and that I'm stingy with stars. Edit: It's now a year since my original review, the pad that helps it hold the table has come loose (taped to the table) but that doesn't seem to have much of an effect and it still works great! The rest seems unchanged! what helps it hold the table came loose (stuck to the table) but that doesn't seem to have much effect and it still works great!
