Perfect fit for my big head. It is worn over the ears but seems too tight and uncomfortable due to the tightness of the cap and the goggle strap at the back of the head. It's more comfortable with open ears. This helps keep water away from the hair. The hair will still get wet but will not become soaked with water. I haven't found a swim cap that keeps my hair dry. I don't think there is such a thing. Swimmers know what water is, it goes where it wants to go. It's under control. This is thin lightweight silicone. Seems to be strong.
