I got these Hilph Ice Pack Slippers for Feet 2 Pack for my wife in particular (at present) as she continues to finish the long term slow healing of a severely broken foot that has also brought about plantar fasciitis as she’s not always been able to "walk well.” I too have suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past and iced my feet - though with typical packages of frozen vegetables. I figured these might work better and so they do. I’ve not tried them yet - we cannot afford the freezer space unless it’s specific to my wife using them. So we’ll put these Hilph Ice Pack Slippers in and 2 - 3 hours later they’re ready. They last solidly frozen a solid 15 minutes and she’ll keep them a total of half an hour as they cool down. She finds it works well for her. She does not walk on them - as per directions - but sits with her feet either down on the floor at her desk or up on the recliner. Either way, they have helped reduced pain and at times, a but of swelling.1. The two slippers come with a bag to use in the freezer to protect them.2. They are "light weight” in that most folks should be comfortable in their weight while on.3. My wife says the one CON is that there is no backing to help hold them on. She suggests something at the back to help, but without, they still work fine - just not perfectly.4. The bag is a good size to fold over and alter directions of the slippers, then lay flat in the freezer - I’m sure it doesn’t have to be flat - and freezes quickly.5. At 15+ minutes it’s the exact right, safe amount of time to have ice on, so that duration works well.6. They do fine between uses kept in the bag in our linen closet.Overall there Hilph Ice Pack Slippers are great and we are happy to have them. My wife finds them comfortable and helpful and she’s grateful to have them.
