Oh my god what a difference. My 2002 f250 has a 2" pro comp leveling plate in the front. And the shocks that came with it were from the Pro Comp "es" series, I'm not sure which. They still had compression, but they just suck. Read some forums about trucks, 5100 is not inferior for this price Some say the Fox 2.0 is better but they are twice the price It's not even worth comparing to 5100 Maybe 5160 but not 5100 makes the best shock absorbers. But not at this price. If you want a smoother ride for $300-$400 that's 5100 for all the way. People even replace the new series shocks with them and say how much better they feel. In my opinion, the upgrade is definitely worth it. Also Amazon says 0-2 inch increase. But Bilstein's website says 0-2.5". Good luck and have a safe trip.
