Have ordered several different items to keep under bed including this one despite reviews mentioning a strong chemical smell. Unfortunately I have to confirm this and I am planning to return mine. The outside looks like fabric but the lining is all plastic (maybe vinyl?) unlike other similar bags I've bought. I would like to point out that I didn't wait more than a few hours for it to wear off, but I used to store laundry in plastic bins and I don't like having to wash the smell off. The smell may fade over time, but I don't want to risk it. The storage boxes I ordered from the same company are more rigid in structure and don't seem to have this problem. The size is good and big, the zip seemed to be of good quality and I liked the transparent strip to see what's inside. If you don't mind smelling plastic, washing your clothes, or storing non-cloth items, you might like this. Good design, except for the inner material.
