Very disappointed with this product. I was hoping to solve the tapered thread bearing issue with this tray. But not really. I mostly buy Superior Thread cones - wire that "snaps" in the shell, isn't very stable, tilts, and I've even had a spring pop out - which can be dangerous. Most frustratingly, the opening of my cones is too small to fit the curved top of the wire. I only have 2 or 3 cones that would fit (Aurifil cone and King Tut sample). I'm glad I didn't purchase the deep Art Bin - I understand the description says Serger Cones but I was fooled by the description and picture. My advice is look closely at the thread supply and make sure the hole in the cone is at least 1/2 inch wide or larger to fit through the wire. I have to go back but I've already tried bending the wires to make them work but to no avail. Storage is also inconvenient if you don't have a trash can, large drawer, or shelf. The wires stick out about 6 inches.
