Small samples!

I am confused. Did I miss something? These are tiny sample sizes. Apparently people who sew their own clothes all their lives have to learn a code for "this is a small version of a typical spool of thread". I] used up a whole roll for a pair of pants. Good colors, there are visible thread defects. The biggest problem is the inability to clarify that these are tiny sample-sized coils.

Bad Thread for Machine or Hand Sewing

Breaks easily in Brother sewing machine. Leaves a lot of fluff. I will no longer buy for machine sewing. It may be suitable for hand sewing, but I haven't used it that way before. Good color choice, bright and pleasant. Not sure how it will hold up. Update: Used to manually sew a label onto a quilt. Easy to catch and tie. Just as bad for hand sewing as it is for machine sewing. I do not recommend.

Good for hand sewing repairs and small projects

This is exactly as advertised. I had a really hard time deciding on a thread at Revain as they all seem to have mixed reviews. I think the biggest problem is that people want to use thread for a variety of purposes (big projects, sewing machine or hand sewing). I don't know how this would work for a sewing machine, but it's perfect for hand sewing small projects and repairs. Today I easily repaired some stretched seams by hand. The thing is comfortable. Because the coils are housed in a box…
