I purchased this embroidery organizer box as a gift and she really loves it. Although I felt the amount of floss on each bobbin was lacking, my young relative was very happy with the variety of colors (and the fact they had the color numbers). She also liked the additional embroidery tools. All in all, a decent purchase. I would recommend this as a good starter kit, but I'm not sure if replacement floss is even available on little bobbins like this, so not sure how realistic it is to expect a…

Really happy with this purchase. Although they aren’t DMC floss, the numbers on the cards coordinate with them so it’s easy to replace colors. Floss seems high quality. The metallics are hard to work with but that’s true if every brand I’ve tried. Small scissors are almost worthless and the needle threaders are junk, but the needles are decent. Altogether a great value and I love that they came wound on the cards.

I honestly just think you are better off buying whole skeins of floss specific to the project you are working on. I very rarely am in a situation where I do not have a pattern that gives me a specific list of colors. Additionally, you have to be wary of using this floss if you at all think you may run out before the completion of that color in your project, as it is not super easy to get another skein.

I ordered this box, and didn’t receive it - which was NOT the seller’s fault: a postal error. But the seller learned of my problem and gave me a discount on a repurchase, even though they hadn’t made any mistakes. Once received, the box contained floss, needles, scissors- everything I needed for the small needlework project I was doing. I’ve not embroidered in 30 years, but this experience (and the lovely box of floss) has me itching to get into it again!

I was hoping this would be good for a beginner such as myself. However, I was embroidering a C on relatively thin fabric and the needles kept breaking. Six of them, to be precise- within a short enough time span to watch your favorite sitcom. No bueno.

I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter to go with her friendship bracelet making kit. She was having severe problems with tangles while using embroidery floss that comes wrapped in the standard 'skeins'. Having the floss wrapped on these cardboard backers, like in this kit, was a life saver for her. She can now easily remove enough floss from the backer and not have to fight tangled up floss. I highly recommend this floss kit for everyone. child to adult!

Perfect came with little snipping scissors for easy cutting. The colors are great! Nice amount on each spool also! My girls are happy they use these for their friendship bracelets. Great buy!

Excellent organizing box for thread. I. Oils to figure out a way to fit all the thread along with the nifty tools it comes with, but luckily had an extra pencil pouch I could keep them in. Sturdy container and has all the colors imaginable, couldn’t imagine getting one of the bigger sets and dealing with even more colors lol

I think this a great kit! I am only a beginner myself, but this comes with everything I need. The final put together picture does include the few threads and needles that I purchased prior to this kit.The few things I noticed is that a few threads seem to be very similar in color, but I think there is a wide enough range that it doesn’t bother me. The embroidery floss is beautiful and wonderful to work with. The organizer is great for keeping the floss tangle-free. The organizer comes with plastic dividers to separate the floss colors. The dividers are a bit difficult to seat in the plastic channels. We didn’t feel the need to use all of the dividers and it still works just as well. Love everything about this purchase, the thread colors, which are numbered with DMC color numbers they aren't exactly the same as DMC colors, but will work. Love the box, and the tools, especially the snips.
