Review on 🚰 Enhance Water Quality with AO Smith AO WH PREL R Replacement Filtration by Will Jenkins

When we first set up our system, we chose a 5 micron (black) filter. We had terrible water pressure but I had no idea it was related to that filter. We were ready to move out of our house thinking it was just the wrong plumbing in the house as we hadn't softened/filtered the water before moving in. We called the plumber and the water company and they both pointed out the water softener. So we called our installer and he removed the 5 micron filter that was the pre-filter to bring the entire household filter to the softener. HOLLY MOLLY! The water pressure was amazing without a filter but I knew I needed another one due to iron build up. We went with this 25 micron filter and the water pressure was stable. After about 3 days it was already orange. I don't think it will last 6 months in my house as recommended, but so far so good at a month and a half!
