Basically I bought this hub to expand the storage on my 2017 iPad with the operating system upgraded to iPadOS. I was able to insert a micro SD card into the slot, connect 2 USB flash drives and even use an external 500GB USB drive. A few observations to report: 1. The hub allowed me to use micro USB and flash drives without power cords.2. If you use a USB external hard drive, you need to connect the power cable.3. All ports and card slots can be used at the same time.4. The USB ports on the hub can be used with other devices such as a wired mouse and keyboard. I used a Logitech mouse and a wired Apple.5 keyboard. The hub is connected and working. You don't need to install any software drivers. Maps and trips can be viewed using the Finder.6 application. This hub works with iPhones and iPads with Lightning connectors. It does not connect to USB-C.7 ports. Unlike other hubs on the market, this one does not overheat.8. There is an HDMI port, but it hasn't been used so far. The manufacturer claims that it can be connected to a TV or monitor. I assume it can also be connected to a projector. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a hub for an iPhone or older iPad.
