2017 F-350 with 3" receiver. This unit pulls the hitch too hard, tensioning the tow chains. This should be taken into account when turning with a trailer as the reduced chain length can cause chain tension. Look for "CURT 45408 Hitch Receiver Adapter Sleeve 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" Adapter Kit as this is a much better choice as it stays flush, doesn't lengthen the receiver and gives you more room too the flexibility of an additional 2.5" receiver, and all for HALF the price. That's no problem.
