worked great on a 2009 Equinox, just wish it came with screws, those inside were in pretty bad condition, had to use others

I had to purchase this part because unfortunately the electronically controlled mechanical device on the rendezvous failed. I installed it myself and it works great!

We keep getting these trade-in cars that have more problems than they're worth to be honest. I spend more of my salary on parts than on food. This completely fixed my Buick's tailgate and works fine in -40°.

This switch helps me reopen the trunk of my 2007 Chevy Equinox AWD. I'm so thankful I was able to buy it here as it was so much cheaper! My dad installed it (he's a jack of all trades) and I was able to load my groceries back into the trunk! :)

Installed 05 Buick Rendezvous. It is necessary to remove the inner lining of the tailgate. Care must be taken not to damage the plate. It's a bit boring, take your time. To open the tailgate, the button cover on the lower inner panel must be removed. A flathead screwdriver is required to unlock the tailgate after removing the button cover. This makes it easier to remove the trunk lining. The function of the part is the same as OEM.

I have little mechanical ability. There was an old torrent from 2007 that didn't open the back door. Did an online diagnosis while waiting for a shop in about a week and a half. I bought a used Pontiac Torrent and based on the condition of the old switch I suspect others thought it was a lever and crushed the switch. Rear connector plugged in, lever pressed with small tool and latch opened, 2 screws, bezel came loose, 2 screws both in poor condition, heads are rusted, took a few minutes longer with hammers, oil etc, but removed the old block, put in a new block with new bolts, recommend stainless steel bolts so they don't corrode like OEM style and you can use your…
