I bought a used Pontiac Torrent and based on the condition of the old switch I suspect others thought it was a lever and crushed the switch. Rear connector plugged in, lever pressed with small tool and latch opened, 2 screws, bezel came loose, 2 screws both in poor condition, heads are rusted, took a few minutes longer with hammers, oil etc, but removed the old block, put in a new block with new bolts, recommend stainless steel bolts so they don't corrode like OEM style and you can use your latch again. I don't have to do it again. Attach this to the bottom edge of the glass so it's visible because if you're loading the back like I did, it wouldn't be fun to get back to that access hole after a full tool and gear load.
