I took a chance and ordered 28/30 (label says 10X or size 70). I had no idea what size I was wearing but assumed it was 30 or 32 because the size 26 suit I found in the closet didn't fit my hips. I could maybe force the subject, but I didn't want to interrupt it. It's still a good comfortable suit and I'll wait for it to fit. (It will fit, sometime in the future.) I tried it on as soon as it arrived. Since I was only speculating, I was hoping for something good enough to work in the pool at Y. It's a little tight on the stomach. but I wasn't so embarrassed to keep myself at home. The removable foam cups are approximately 3-7/8 in size, which is larger than the C cup and smaller than the D cup. There is no support band built into the cup. everything will do. The top of the swimwear is connected to the skirt area with scalloped stitches. The front and back of the bodice are designed together before moving on to the skirt. The bra-like front is built along the line of skimpy sleep bras and offers very little support for any size bust that sags or hangs from the chest wall. A cute little tie at the front is used to separate and secure each girls bag. The pouches are lined with a lightweight jersey that stretches or flexes only slightly in any direction, and this jersey lining runs from side seam to side seam. The lower right and left corners of the liner have a clean hemmed opening through which you can remove the cups. I was impressed with the cup opening lip; The hem has a transparent webbing that prevents this hole from deforming and makes it easier for workers to sew on the slant. The foam cups float freely in the bag, separated only by a loop that folds the entire front into two parts, and you have to put the cups back in place. If your girls are larger than a C cup (I'm an FG), the foam cups are likely to shed the bust and rise to the point where the empire waist seam is completely over the bust. This happened to me twice while swimming in Y. After I removed the cups, that was no longer a problem. In fact, the suit fits a lot better. The suit has adjustable straps. I found that the adjustment clips kept slipping down due to the girls low level of support. If you're used to making girls taller with adjustable bra straps, don't expect this suit to help you achieve that. Straps are sewn to stretch 1-7/8 inches in length with minimal stretch across width. Personally I would sew the straps onto a different grit, but then I would also sew on the banded bibs. But for a $22 swimsuit, I think they did a pretty good job of tailoring/design. The panty is now an area where I deducted a star due to the high French leg cut in the front next to the crotch area. This jacket looks great on figure skaters and gymnasts but doesn't look great on overweight women. If you have an overhanging panny, overlapping skin folds are likely to be visible. And if you're particularly hairy in the upper left/right pubic area, this can also be noticeable. Adjust the suit so that the skirt hangs below the crotch. I did this and my buttocks were completely covered by the panties but the back of my skirt showed about 2 inches of my butt. For me, this wasn't a deal breaker; I need to lose weight for my double knee replacement and spine surgery and am well motivated. The skirt floats on the water level in the pool, which isn't a big deal. By tucking your skirt in, you'll draw more attention to your pubic bone. If the floating skirt bothers you, just take some small fishing weights and sew them on where you want them. The panty is designed to use a drawstring for adjustment. There is no additional elastic for the top of the panties, instead the natural elasticity of the fabric is used. Note that there are no lace holders and the ends of the laces can be accidentally pulled into the waist guard. If this happens to you and you need the laces feature, just pull the laces all the way out. Attach a small safety pin to one end of the flat ribbon and thread it back through one of the holes, keeping the ribbon flat and not twisted. It's easier to overtighten the entire yoke than to struggle trying to pull one end out from under the torso. Overall I am impressed with the swimsuit. I found no protruding uncut threads, the stitching is very neat and tidy. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the French panties. I am impressed with the material used, which is heavier than regular swimwear spandex fabrics, and the stitching. I ordered another 28/30 suit today so I can wear it, wash/dry it and go to Y frequently. I am now 5'5-1/2" (was 5'9") and 306 pounds. I recommend trying this suit. I'm glad I took the risk.
